Extra-reinforced construction
The Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda has a double gutter combined with a steel strip, reinforcements in the side and/or intermediate beams (depending on the size of the veranda) and a glass roof.
Free viewing and walking space
The extra reinforced construction allows for a wider span with a minimum number of support structures. As a result, you enjoy unobstructed views.
Suitable for changing weather conditions
The Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda provides the necessary protection against changing weather conditions and has a load capacity of 98 kg/m².

The Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda features a gutter with a double bottom, side beams and intermediate beams, made from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium. Combined with the steel strip in the gutter and the glass roof, this makes for an extra strong structure, a wider span and greater load capacity. A robust and high-quality veranda with a luxurious look. A perfect addition to any garden or outdoor space.
Clear or opal glass roof
The tempered and laminated glass roof (4-4-2) adds to the sturdiness and luxurious look of the Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda. The glass roof panels are 8.76 mm thick, 98 cm wide and you can choose between clear glass or opal glass. With clear glass, you benefit from the most light and an unobstructed view. Do you need more privacy and want protection from the sun? Then choose an opal glass roof. Filter by the desired roof type when configuring your Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda.

Wider span, fewer support structures
Thanks to the extra sturdy construction of the Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda, a wider span is possible. For verandas attached to the house up to a maximum of 6.06m wide and 4m deep, this means no additional support structure is needed in the middle. This ensures maximum light and free viewing and walking space. The number of support structures depends on the width and depth of the Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda.
Load capacity of 98kg/m²
The Gumax® Heavy Duty veranda is specially developed for stable and reliable performance under a variety of weather conditions. Thus, the veranda is suitable for areas with a maximum snow load of 122 kg of snow per m², according to snowfall calculations based on harmonised standard EN-1991-3. This is equivalent to about 0.5 metres of compact snow. A robust construction that provides extra security in all weather conditions.

The structural components used in Gumax® verandas are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of EN 1090-1 and tested by TÜV Nederland QA B.V. This process ensures structural quality according to European standards.

You can very easily assemble the Gumax® Heavy Duty verandas yourself thanks to the user-friendly construction kit, including step-by-step assembly instructions. The Gumax® sliding doors, sun shading, lighting and accessories match the Heavy Duty veranda perfectly. Customer service is available 365 days a year to answer your questions.

Fantastic product at great prices and great customer service
After shopping around we decided to purchase our glass veranda from TuinMaximaal and fit ourselves - we were so happy with the product - delivery was slightly longer than advertised but that didn’t matter as we were still meticulously getting our ground works done.
All arrived very well packaged and the instructions were used along with installation videos on the website.
We installed on the back of a flat roof extension and had to alter the guttering to get the 8 degree pitch for 3.5 m projection but all the prep worked out and installation was seamless.
We didn’t end up hiring a lift genie and instead used acrojacks and wood to protect the surface.
The glass panels were heavy 4m x3.5 and hubby and 3 friends managed to fit them in one hour ! 3 adults to fit the glass doors - it’s now complete water tight and looks amazing.
So so happy we went with this company as the quote we had received from a competitor who didn’t offer supply only was an extra £20,000!
We also purchased the draft weather strips - please note that if you want to use weather strips and handles the handles go on the other side to weather strip.
