Assembly instructions

You can install Gumax® Shading Panels yourself very easily and quickly thanks to the handy DIY sliding system and rail system. Assemble it according to the steps in the assembly instructions and you will retain the 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

Measuring Gumax® Shading Panels

You determine the height of Gumax® Shading Panels based on the distance from the top of the bottom rail to the flat underside of the gutter (Gumax® veranda) or the flat underside of the veranda (universal). Measure at three points and use the smallest size. Subtract 136 mm from this.

Are you also ordering a Gumax® veranda? Always mount the roof of your veranda at an 8-degree angle. To mount the panels on the sides, you need 8° glass wedges

The height of the panels
You customise the Gumax® Shading Panels yourself for any height. They are available up to 2700 mm in height.

The distance between the slats

The distance between the slats

Determine how much light falls comes the Gumax® Shading Panels based on the distance between the slats. You can choose from the following distances:

  • 10 mm (optional)
  • 13 mm (standard)
  • 16 mm (optional)

Assemble your Gumax® Shading Panels

To assemble Gumax® Shading Panels, you will need the following:

Rail system

  • Gumax® rail system (Existing rail system of your Gumax® glass sliding doors or order separately as a package)

Supplied with Gumax® Shading Panel

  • Cassette
  • Frame set + manual
  • Slat set

Optional:

  • Spacers in 2 sizes

It is important to install Gumax® Shading Panels on a solid foundation. If your terrace is sturdy enough, you can mount them on it. In other cases, this can be solved by installing a foundation beam.
