With the Gumax®facade insulation mounting system, Gumax® verandas can be easily installed against a wall that has exterior insulation. The system bridges up to 250 mm of insulation and cladding, while preventing heat loss caused by thermal bridges. The matt anthracite colour (RAL 7016) matches the veranda perfectly, and the system remains largely out of sight thanks to its smart placement behind the wall profile. This mounting system perfectly complements modern building and insulation methods.

Smart construction
An increasing number of homes are equipped with exterior wall insulation. The Gumax® facade insulation mounting system provides the perfect solution for securely mounting a Gumax® veranda in such cases. The construction consists of:
- A rear carrier: mounted first against the wall, behind the wall profile.
- A threaded rod: connects the rear carrier to the load-bearing inner wall and bridges the insulation and cladding.
- Support structures measuring 110 × 60 mm: narrower profiles that are placed beneath the rear carrier, against the wall. The number of support structures depends on the selected width of your veranda.
Together with the supplied fastening materials, this ensures a sturdy and insulation-friendly installation of your Gumax® veranda without causing damage* to the wall or insulation.
One system for multiple wall types
This mounting system makes it possible to bridge a distance of up to 250 mm between the load-bearing inner wall (200 kg per linear metre) and the exterior of the façade. It is suitable for many common situations, such as a concrete or solid brick wall with exterior finishes like wooden slats, plaster, steel or brick slips. As long as the total thickness of the insulation and cladding remains below 250 mm, the system offers a strong and reliable solution.
Sturdy installation without heat loss
You will receive a package with all necessary parts and fastening materials for a strong and stable installation. The included brush and air blower ensure optimal adhesion of the Fischer mortar, which firmly anchors the threaded rod into the load-bearing inner wall. Thanks to the thermal decoupling sleeves and plates, thermal bridges, areas where heat can easily escape, are effectively prevented within the wall.
The facade insulation mounting system is available in standard widths of 3.06 m, 4.06 m, 5.06 m and 6.06 m. For verandas between 6.06 m and 12.06 m wide, you will receive a coupling pipe and plate to connect the rear carriers of the system. In addition, the package includes a step-by-step assembly manual to help you correctly install the system on your wall.

After shopping around we decided to purchase our glass veranda from TuinMaximaal and fit ourselves - we were so happy with the product - delivery was slightly longer than advertised but that didn’t matter as we were still meticulously getting our ground works done.
All arrived very well packaged and the instructions were used along with installation videos on the website.
We installed on the back of a flat roof extension and had to alter the guttering to get the 8 degree pitch for 3.5 m projection but all the prep worked out and installation was seamless.
We didn’t end up hiring a lift genie and instead used acrojacks and wood to protect the surface.
The glass panels were heavy 4m x3.5 and hubby and 3 friends managed to fit them in one hour ! 3 adults to fit the glass doors - it’s now complete water tight and looks amazing.
So so happy we went with this company as the quote we had received from a competitor who didn’t offer supply only was an extra £20,000!
We also purchased the draft weather strips - please note that if you want to use weather strips and handles the handles go on the other side to weather strip.
